What I Wish I Knew When I Started Personal Training…
Ed background

When you flick through your social media, how many PT’s or fitness ‘influences’ do you see showing off their bodies, their workouts or ‘what they eat in a day’?

What I wish I knew when I started personal training is no-one actually gives a shit what the personal trainer can do, do they? Yes, a PT needs to be fit and healthy, course they do, but do they need to show it off all over their social medias or is this just an ego boost for them?

I know what the answer is…

I wasted the first few years of my PT career falling into this mould, thinking this was important, when what’s actually important is how can I help you? What can I do for you to help you progress…

You need a trainer that is relatable, someone who understands where you are and where you want to be, not someone who is so focussed on themselves they don’t have your best interests at heart.

When you’re choosing a trainer, don’t go for how amazing they look on social media, do some digging, see if they’ve got past experience with clients similar to you, see what their back story is, it could be like yours.

If you need any help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we have an incredible team of trainers from all different backgrounds and walks of life.
